what is a "season" on the Web?

Does the word "season" even make sense anymore when we can download and entire "season" and watch it all at once? affraid

i think it still applies. helps keep things "organized" so to speak. it's definitely more of a traditional TV term, but i think it works with new media too. also, good to use for marketing when/if series goes to DVD.
